Words have power.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure® San Diego is the most powerful force in supporting breast cancer research—and at the same time in helping San Diego’s uninsured women in need. All of their power comes from the contributions of individuals. For the past two years, we have contributed the power of words—words that shaped campaigns to not only create awareness and attract donations, but also to pair with one of the most emotional contributions Komen makes to women—supporting cancer patients when they need it most and be a force in filling the void that helps them fight back. And fight off the disease. The message of “CANCER CAN’T. YOU CAN.” represents the strength Komen and its supporters have as a group and individually in the fight against breast cancer.
